The youth are a vital and often overlooked part of the body of Christ. This is the reason that On Fire Missions would like to introduce The Young Adults and Teens Prayer Line. This 24-hour toll-free phone line is another part of the outreach ministry of House of Prayer Christian Churches of America. |
Youth today face many challenges as they navigate through this ever-changing world. The Young Adults and Teens Prayer Line is here to comfort the feeble, encourage the weary, and embolden through the power of prayer those youth who are making their way through life’s journey. Those youth who call in will have the opportunity to speak and pray with one of the teenagers from House of Prayer Christian Churches of America who, while not perfect, have a zeal and fire for God and His ways.
Our world today is filled with temptation. Sin and the opportunities for it are on every hand. “But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.” (James 1:14-15) Sin and its consequences leave lives and relationships shattered. Teenagers can call the Young Adults and Teens Prayer Line and talk to other teenagers they can relate to who have also experienced many of the pressures and failures that our youth are going through. “Lo, children are the heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.” (Psalms 127:3)
We must, as a community of fellow believers, do everything within our power to reach the next generation with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This is the mission of House of Prayer Christian Churches of America through the Young Adults and Teens Prayer Line and On Fire Missions enthusiastically exhorts any youth in need of prayer and encouragement to call in. God’s love truly has no boundaries, and the power of prayer truly has no limits.
